- Combat Function: Acting as a security force within the Hanamachi and surrounding mountains, the Gado don't venture outside of the Keisei's territory to engage. In combat though they use swords and blasters dep;ending on the situation and mix in force powers for enhancement of their physical bodies to become stronger in a fight. They are a mixture of police force investigating and security enforcing the rules of the hanamachi.
- Force Geisha: Skilled in both combat and beauty, the Keisei training they received making them highly athletic and the training as a Goda with weapons and combat.
- Highly Trained: With the newest changes and improvements to Atrisian education and military technique. THeir skills with guns, blades and vehicles or ships are top tier for the normal units with more getting specialized.
- Limited Influence: Outside of their region where the Keisei have influence the Gado are never if rarely seen. Some might accompany high value Keisei as guards but generally they do not leave their mountain region.
- Numbers: Smaller in scale compared to many security forces, the Gado are not military though they do trade and buy from the Atrisian government for equipment. Their more focused security allows them to protect their home and mountain.
- Aerial Support: While holding basic craft the Gado's lack of fighters and airships for fast paced aerial combat presents a problem.
- Heavy Armor: The mountains present their own challenges both for and against. Heavy vehicles are not often used by the Gado cause of the lack of movement in defending the passes or proximity of the homes.
Generally seen as mysterious as their sisters the more known Keisei. The Gado are protectors, enforcers and security within the Hanamachi and surrounding mountain regions that the Keisei control. As a regional force it does give them more influence with the people and they are favored as they have just as much skill in becoming works of art as they do with swords and blasters... the villagers who work the mines of the Keisei in the mountains generally being able to meet them and a few who are in training. The Gado though are still largely unknown among the villagers outside of the Hanamachi.
The selection process is different in many cases and outsiders do not know what happens or leads to one becoming a Gado... internally they are selected from those who fail their trials among the Keisei or are injured and wish to find a purpose. THose disfigued by a client who wishes to protect their sisters or the village. A few of the members being trained for it specifically as they were children of other Gado who broke their vows but found a place. Refugee's who met aa criteria created by the grandmaster and who came to reside on Atrisia often are regulated to the Gado for their skills.
