BIOGRAPHY:


Around three decades ago, Gakot was born as the result of one night between two Klatoonian laborers. The father died shortly afterwards leaving the mother with an unwanted child. As soon as he could walk and talk the mother sold Gakot to a pirate band for drugs. For many years that followed the boy then teenager then young man worked under the captain. In the ruthless environment he became hardened to violence, greed and cruelty.

He worked his way through the ranks proving to be a capable raider. Then one rotation his crew ambushed a refugee ship on its way to Alliance territory. Gakot led the boarding party but they soon encountered a Jedi Knight and his Padawan among the refugees. Despite his best efforts Gakot's new foes overpowered him and his shipmates. Then in panic the latter abandoning their comrade to die.

Just as the refugees were about to kill him the Jedi saved Gakot, greatly shocking the pirate. That act of mercy always stayed with the Klatoonian's mind even as he went to prison, slowly changing him into a better man, no saint but better all the same. Released a few years after for good behavior Gakot enlisted with the Alliance defense force, eventually he served with Strike Force Talon, from its early days to the present.

Recently his commander resigned her commission not before getting Gakot Cal to replace her. Now newly promoted to Captain, the former pirate aims to his brothers and sisters in arms through the wars they now face together.
