in which the two bemoaned that mother-of-pearl hairsticks were lethal weapons with a slow and terrible poison, Chi set out to create her own less sinister version. On the surface they’re one of a handful of hair stick designs of a variety of woods, finishes, and embellishments. Each one however contains a hidden contact stunner activated by a strong grip on a pressure sensor as if clenched in a fist. Then when jabbed into an assailant, they release a stunning charge capable of rendering most humanoids unconscious for a half hour or so depending on species. Droids are also vulnerable if not shielded against such attacks.Each stick contains enough charges for a dozen attacks and can be recharged via an induction charger which also renders them waterproof as they don't have an exterior opening. Every pair comes in a small wooden case for convenient storage and traveling. A set of all six designs costs nine hundred credits, or individual designs are purchasable for two hundred credits.
