• Description: The Galactic Alliance 5th Sector Fleet was a large Numbered Fleet operating out of the Fondor Sector and Crimson Lance Command. Under the command of one of the Alliance's High Admirals 5th Fleet was quickly reorganized into a primarily expeditionary fleet containing most of the Alliance's veteran forces from the Sith-Imperial Civil War after the outbreak of the Second Great Hyperspace War. It was broken down into several Battle Groups and as the war continued quickly ballooned in size to become one of the Alliance's largest fleets nearly eclipsing even the Coruscant Sector Fleet. It was an extremely flexible fleet, taking assets from across the Alliance. Most large capital ships in the fleet bore the characteristic red stripes of the Crimson Lance.

• Composition: The 5th Fleet was composed of several Battle Groups. While a majority of the Battle Groups were organized to fight the war against the Maw, others were still utilized to defend the greater territory of the Crimson Lance. The fleet was led by the Startide-Class Star Defender 'Ouroboros' and veteran fleet Battle Group Kenobi. Within its ranks were old vessels such as Kuat's Pallaeon III Star Destroyers and Coruscant's Redeemer-Class Star Defenders as well as newer vessels coming from Fondor and Corellia. The fleet was very carrier-heavy and starfighter dependant in its early days but as the war has gone on and more readily available, combat-focused vessels filled its ranks it became a much more flexible fleet with Battle Groups being able to split into smaller sub-fleets more comfortably and intermingle between nearby Battle Groups in order to complete mission tasks.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
At the end of the Sith-Imperial Civil War much of the Galactic Alliance's navy and army were still engaged in war-time activities in old Sith and New Imperial Space. Battle Group Kenobi had been nearly obliterated during a Sith ambush attack on Korriban and with a majority of the Alliance's fleet still searching out Sith holdouts and conducting smaller skirmishes throughout the Tingle Arm it became apparent that a more formal organization of Alliance fleet assets was required. Split between seven Numbered Fleets and seven Sector Armies the GADF underwent a substantial consolidation effort. The fifth numbered fleet under the Sector Command code "Crimson Lance" was established mainly as an exploratory fleet with the secondary mission of defending the Alliance from the potential threat of the fickle Eternal Empire. It wouldn't be until the destruction of Csilla that the fifth would be activated as a primarily expeditionary fleet.

Suffering heavy casualties in the early years due to the unpredictability and seemingly advanced and precise hyperspace travel of the raider group known as the Brotherhood of the Maw, the headquarters of Crimson Lance was inevitably moved from Atrisia to Fondor. Assets from other Numbered Fleets were drawn from and a push from the Alliance Defense Committee saw a number of new vessels from Fondor, Kuat, and Corellia flood the ranks of the 5th Fleet, swelling its numbers and making it one of the largest Numbered Fleets in the Alliance and one of the most advanced. With veterans of two wars heading its sub-fleets, the Fighting 5th and the Crimson Lance would go on to win victories over Tython and Empress Teta, shifting the balance of the war in the Alliance's favor.

The 5th would remain one of the Galactic Alliance's primary offensive and defensive forces in wars and battles to come.

Everything is good since the ships listed are affiliated with the GA. Many of the faction manifests also include items purchased from other writers not affiliated with the faction. My request was simply to ensure any non-affiliated tech, ships, etc had the proper permissions from the original poster. Being part of the creative team for a faction does not nullify permission rules when they do apply.
