defy the tyrannous stars
- Intent: To expand on the GADF and create a large fighting force for Zark to command without railroading other military PCs under his leadership.

- Army Name: 342nd Star Corps
- Classification: Galactic Alliance Marine Unit - Expeditionary
- Affiliation: Galactic Alliance
- Army Symbol:
- Description: An expeditionary force on permanent detachment to Alliance frontier worlds, the 342nd Star Corps is newly formed out of fragmented Ziost veterans and fresh recruits from the very edges of Alliance space. Like other noteworthy elements of the GADF they are known by their distinctive yellow markings which designate them as a specialist combat unit. Star Corps fighting tactics include a heavy emphasis on force recon and air cavalry, however despite their preference for skirmish warfare the 53rd Armored is equipped to bring larger ordnance to bear should the need arise.
- Headquarters: Fort Cadera, Jedha
- Goals:
- Defend domestic Galactic Alliance interests
- Defend Galactic Alliance naval vessels
- Defend Galactic Alliance interests abroad
- Aid Galactic Alliance allied nations for causes that align with the Galactic Alliance's beliefs
- Reputation: Under General San Tekka's leadership the Star Corps has become as much a humanitarian and peacekeeping force as they are battle hardened combat marines. Many are recruited from border worlds and the galactic frontier where those swayed by the Galactic Alliance's ideals are eager to prove themselves through service. Native accents are varied, some speak better Sy Bisti than they do Basic. Marines of the 342nd are granted special dispensation to wear kamas and command pauldrons out of respect for their ARC marines who fought valiantly in the Stygian Campaign despite suffering terrible losses.
- Army Size: Large
- Composition: Four legions with various battalions and other subunits represent the Star Corps' operational capacity. Noteworthy elements include Talon Squad, an elite commando unit under General San Tekka's personal command. Just as renowned are the veteran ARC marines of Ghost Company.

- General Zark San Tekka
Declared killed in action over a decade ago, upon his return Master San Tekka ultimately elected to resume his commission as a GADF flag officer under the new regime while requesting a service transfer to assault operations. He was reinstated with the equivalent rank of Marine General and granted command authority over the recently mustered 342nd Star Corps. Many of their surviving veterans had already fought with him for weeks during the siege of New Adasta and eventual retreat from Sith space. Currently stationed out of an abandoned monastery on Jedha, the Star Corps represents both the long arm of Alliance justice and their first line of defense against the unknown. Many task forces deployed to systems trailing the Outer Core are assigned Star Corps personnel.
