The rush of contact sports is one that is unrivaled by anything int he galaxy. To hear the raucous cheering of millions upon millions of sports fans cheering for their favorite team to beat the snot out of the other for their amusement is a symphony of beauty.
The Galactic Shockball League, formerly known as the Royal Imperial Shockball League, is the galaxy wide shockball league consisting of teams from planets all over the galaxy. The sport itself is a contact sport of the highest degree. Teams were tasked with knocking their opponents out with an electrically charged ball and the team with the most standing members at the end of the time limit wins. The sport is a very deadly one but it's popularity was once too strong for anyone to really care about the fatality rate, which was incredibly high. Nonetheless, in it's time, shockball is and aims to be one of the most, if not the most, popular sport int he galaxy.
RATIONALE
Cady had acquired ownership of the GSL through her usual method. She coerced the former commissioner into signing away his position in the company to her through her force persuasion and use of her species' abilities to put the former commissioner in a trance. Once she recieved ownership of the revived Shockball League, she began expanding her influence over all the coaches and players, easily gaining all their loyalty.
This is a canon company. Sort of.
