The Galactic Trading Incorporated or GTI is a Corporate Front for Tydus Arms Smuggling on a large scale.
On the exterior The company is legitimate manufacture of arms and droids, as well as transporting cargo to and from planet as a third party. The Companies CEO is a man by the name of "Timmothy Gollar", Scholar of the Coruscant Academy for Business. He has no record of criminal arrest or even a record to scrub his name. Tydus is but a lowly board member on paper, but in reality he runs the whole company, holding the company by the chains. With his status as board member he his aloud to attend meetings and sell company products, but all he cares about are the Cargo Transports he uses.
Now off book, the GTI is a large scale Arms Dealing ring, with warehouses across the galaxy only centered in three locations: Conglomerate Prime, Tatooine, and Commenor. Using their contracts as a third party cargo hauler, and normal products, smuggling is easy to and from planets.
When Tydus went missing for unknown reasons, the Company was purchased by the United Trade Conglomerate and worked as one of many supply companies that worked within the Confederacy of Indepenant Systems. Once their collapes happened, it relied on the UTC to survive in the Galactic South.
