One-of-a-kind and captained by the fiendish Felacat Miraenni Miet'Ra the Beacon is the stand-alone HQ to the GUIDE and serves as the central hub for all information, orders, employ, and missions relating to The Guide. It can usually be found stationed in neutral or friendly territory surrounded by all manner of Guide employees coming and going. It was created by Koros Spaceworks as part of the INVESTOR agreement made by Lily Kirsche Kuhn.

GUIDE is a group based around dissemination of this information while also providing INVESTORS with a broader scope of marketing to the galaxy at large by use of The Guide.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=10.5pt]Rationale[/SIZE][SIZE=10.5pt]: GUIDE is the brainchild of Magdalena Lethe who found herself and her brother terribly lost on the planet Hok with no means of communicating with the locals and very, very little information provided by the Holonet as to how one should conduct themselves without offending the native collective. "There's got to be an easier way!" Magda proclaimed and set to work making just that. GUIDE and The Guide came to fruition after several months of planning and marketing resulted in a holo-meeting with several of the Galaxy's most prestigious INVESTORS including Vanessa Kuhn of Emeritus Industries, Lily Kuhn with Koross Spaceworks, Taeli Raaf of Aurora Industries, Arumi Zy of ZyTech, Jaster of Clan Auwad with the United Trade Conglomerate, and the mysterious nameless man [Sarge Potteiger] of his own accord. With the production of the Beacon of Broadcast and the GUIDE Personnel Transports, GUIDE officially launched the first of its employ out into the stars. [/SIZE]

Acronym. Stands for Galactic United Information Database Enclave and refers to the group that oversees and produces the collective articles of The Guide.
The Guide
Refers to the collective of articles and information produced by GUIDE. It comes in the form of a downloadable application that can be used on any datapad. The Guide is available to every galactic citizen by purchase of membership (1 month, 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, 3 year, 5 year, 10 year, or lifetime). It is updated instantaneously as the Guide Scribes work round the clock to provide the most current information recorded by our teams in the field.
Who are we? At GUIDE we strive to build the galactic community through a web of information and understanding. We seek to break down the barriers of confusion, ignorance, misinformation, and utter cluelessness for the common galactic citizen in their journey through the stars. We take the trouble out of travel, the headache out of culture shock. We are the trail-blazers, the map-makers, the language translators, the stargazers, the leap-takers. We bring the galaxy to you while you take the yourself through the galaxy.
What do we do? The creation of The Guide is our top priority. Our people travel the stars and gather the information that's important to you to make your journey as enjoyable, efficient, and effective as possible. Through the collective efforts of our Scouts, Starnauts, Pathfinders, Scholars, and Scribes we bring to you, our subscribers, the very latest information on mapped star systems such a local governmental powers, influential companies and organizations, important locations, system maps, cultural etiquette, and much more.
How do we do this? Through the gracious donations and contributions of our INVESTORS and people throughout the galaxy. Our Investors are very important to us! They are the lifeblood of the thriving, living being that is GUIDE. Without their funding we would not be where we are today. Per agreements to Investment Tiers we offer varying stages of payback to our Investors through marketing and media output for their chosen organization or business; free access to The Guide, and insider preferential treatment to the operations of GUIDE.
