  • Distinctions: They are not typical Aak Dogs in that no horns or protrusions, their hair grows gray around the snout the older they get.
  • Races: N/A
  • Force Sensitivity: [ Non-Sensitive

Strengths:

    • GENTLE GIANT: While they are by no means weak animals, Gallinorese Mountain Aak Dogs, or “Gallies” as they are called are susceptible to their families imprinting on them. Simply put, you are family if you own them, and if you know them, they are your best friend.
    • SOCIALLY PLAYFUL: While they can be “couch potatoes” they crave fun and frolic, so the more walks you take them on, the better. They love meeting and greeting people.
Weaknesses:

    • PENCHANT FOR MISCHIEF: They’re balls of energy, so while they are not destructive, if you don’t run their batteries down, they will find a way to.
    • ”I CAN’T STAY MAD AT YOU.”: They’re cute as a button, and if they were fully sentient, they would know it (though one would wonder if some of them are). It is often easy to get out of trouble with a face lick, silly dances, and a butt wiggle.
CULTURE

    • Diet: Omnivore - They are pretty much “bottomless pits” with no real sense of self control. If you feed them, they will eat. Not usually liking roughage, but other than that, if you eat it, they will. The only real “poison” are chocolates, and onions.
    • Communication: Barks, Yips, Body Language, Growls. No real set language, just depending on the animal.
    • Technology level: N/A
    • Religion/Beliefs: N/A
    • General behavior: Very sweet, good around other animals, and children. Really more of an added member of a family than a pet. Just as happy cuddling on a couch as playing in a yard.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Historically, “Gallies” ran in packs up in the mountains of Gallinore. Their diet at the time was aviary for the most part because of the lack of real options. When the mountains were slowly colonized, other animals either dwindled in numbers or evacuated, Galleys were found to be useful for companionship, hunting and protection. Over time their responsibilities lessened but the breeding remained in their genes. Now they are just fun big pets.
