  Born on Yurb, Gandra was raised into a hunting community at a young age, taught the principals of hunting and tracking from the age of seven, she took to the profession well, finding real enjoyment in the satisfaction of a successful hunt. Her clan however, was not made to last. At the age of eleven, Trandoshan raiders arrived on her world, and slaughter and captured many of her clan. Gandra attempted to fight back, only to watch as her father and sister were killed, both herself and her mother taken into captivity. Despite the attempts of both herself and her mother, the pair were separated, and it would make a dedication that Gandra has still not been able to live up to; finding her mother.
  
  The Togruta was sold off to Toydaria as a vermin hunter, paid next to nothing to merely kill whatever creatures found their way into her masters store, she was not held for long before she managed an escape at the age of thirteen. It was then she hitchhiked onto a ship, escaping into Galactic Alliance territory. Starting off on Balmorra, she found work in an arms facility, then managed a career as a shipment manifest investigator, before finally earning a license as a bounty hunter at the age of eighteen. Since then, Gandra has been set on her path of trying to locate her mother, and eliminate the Trandoshans that have ruined her life. Using her knowledge, she is very well versed in arms and shipping manifests, and is one of the first hunters to respond to operations against slavers.
  
  Known for her lack of humor and rather bad language, Gandra is often hired for tracking and combat missions, usually to find and rescue people from kidnappings. She doesn't have much in the way of a moral code, aside from working with slavers; in which case she's highly likely to attempt to kill said slavers on principal. Given the way in which she conduits her life, it's frankly a miracle she isn't dead yet.
