- Smart Heat Seeking!: The targeting system within the Sabertooth was designed to track the heat signature of your average Mando jetpack, while also guided by the computer within the launcher, allowing for accurate guidance up to a mile away.
- Proximity Fuse: Once launched, the rocket is designed to follow the guidance chip installed inside. Once it gets close enough to it's target, boom. No need for a direct impact.
- Optics: Built into the launcher, a scope allows for accurate target acquisition, while also serving as an optic. Featuring thermal and night vision options within the scope, the Sabertooth is designed for any time of day, and any terrain.
- Disassembly Included!: For ease of transport, the Sabertooth splits into three parts, allowing for a squad of men to carry them without worry of back problems.
- Big Boom: The Baradium charge within the rocket is designed for high concussive damage, allowing GADF soldiers to get around Mandalorian beskar.
- Adaptive Warheads: While the standard warhead is pure HE, the Sabertooth was designed with adaptability in mind, being able to be used with all other GA ordinance.
- The Missile Knows Where It Is: The targeting system within the launcher, once fired, auto corrects for deviation, via the guidance system within the missile, allowing the missile to track it's target without user input.
- Stealth? What's That?: When fired, the Sabertooth is loud. Very loud. Attempting to use it for stealth missions is ill-advised.
- Squad Tactics: While the Sabertooth is, in theory, capable of being operated by a single user, reloading and assembling the weapon is a three man job. Plus, rockets are heavy.
- Low Penetration: The standard rockets fired by the Sabertooth are designed for concussive force, not armor piercing. While it is possible to load the launcher with an alternative warhead for such purpose, it's standard issue warhead is big boom, little pen.
After the success of the GAB-34 Claw, Si Tech was commissioned to create a new standard issue rocket launcher for the GA. With war underway against the Enclave, Rara Gowisi designed a warhead and launcher that would prioritize heavy infantry over vehicles, and thus allow GADF soldiers a tactical advantage against mandalorian raids.
