- Seeing IS Believing: Designed for assassinations, the Viper's scope is designed to see through walls with enhanced thermal vision, as well as a specially made night vision that can make it look like it's noon at the dead of night. But most importantly, you can see what the color of your target's eyes are from a mile away.
- One Shot, One Kill: The Viper's accuracy is unrivaled. You could put out someone's cigarette from across a city.
- Stealthy: Designed with refined Tibanna gas canisters, the bolts fired from the Viper are invisible to the naked eye, and lack the signature sound of a blaster bolt flying through the air. While they still function the same as a blaster bolt, it's easier to get a quiet kill this way.
- Concealable: The Viper is capable of being disassembled into a menagerie of parts, making it hard for anyone to identify it as a 'blaster' in this state.
- Effective: While the bolts fired from the Viper are invisible to the naked eye, that doesn't make them any less effective. Comparable to that of other high end sniper rifle bolts, the overcharged plasma still has the ability to burn through heavy armor, and take out targets through vehicle armor.
- EMP: If hit with a direct EMP blast, the Viper will be next to useless. Might make a neat club though.
- Defense?: The Viper was designed for stealthy, quiet kills. Not as a personal defense weapon. Don't expect to be winning a firefight with this thing.
Designed as a way for SIA agents to increase their firepower, the Viper was quietly designed alongside the Spot as a method of giving the SIA a new toy, and giving Rara a new headache. Capable of firing invisible bolts, the Viper can fire from long ranges, and take out targets very quietly.
