- Gyroscopic Interior: The Cabin is mounted inside a spherical mount, which allows the cabin to stay upright, regardless of the orientation of the vehicle.
- Aquatic Coverable: The Krakana is capable of short, above water bursts of flight. While not space worthy, or even necessarily atmospheric worthy, it is able to glide for short periods.
- Watertight: The Krakana was designed as a fast attack submersible, and thus it is designed with the same mindset as a spacecraft. Heavy armor, sealed with the best water tight sealant and metal casting credits can buy.
- Heavy Hitting: The Krakana is designed with the heaviest Rara could fit on the chassis, allowing the Krakana to engage targets with heavy firepower. It also is mounted with several forward facing torpedo tubes, and a rear depth charge launcher in the back, allowing for the Jaguar to engage underwater targets with impunity.
- Swordfish Mentality: The Krakana was designed to slice through the water, and push forward at blinding speeds, similiar to an above-water starfighter. As such, it's designed to also slice through fellow submarines if need be, and outpace them.
- Upside down!: The Krakana, despite having a top mounted cannons, is designed to intentionally flip if need be. It's ballast tanks have ports on both the top and bottom, allowing for diving or rising regardless of orientation
- Crush Depth: The Krakana can only handle about 2000 feet of water before the pressure squishes it like a soda can.
- Water's Comin In!: Any significant damage to the hull will cause the Krakana to sink like a stone.
With Sith incursions within GA space becoming more frequent, the defense of aquatic worlds became more and more apparent. Si Tech was commissioned to create a submarine vessel to defend undersea bases, and act as an assault vehicle for undersea attacks.
The Krakana was the result. Using the logic of a starfighter, but beneath the waves, the Krakana slices through the water with speeds normally reserved for airbound fighters. While it's capability is bound to the water, the Krakana is capable of flying for short periods, and striking at low level targets above the water.
