- Chuck or Bloop: Designed in both standard grenade variants, and 40mm versions, the Roar is designed to be delivered in several ways.
- Storm Warming: When activated with the pull of the pin, the Roar, after a few seconds, releases a cloud of charged water vapor. Looking like a thick fog at first, anyone inside the cloud is then after a second, hit with a static discharge equal to that of a bolt within a thunderstorm.
- Recoverable: The grenade itself is practically inert. If recovered, the static generator within the grenade can be recycled, or even refilled with the right technology.
- Diet EMP: While not an EMP per say, anyone hit with the charged release from the storm will probably have their electronics fried. This makes the Roar great for sabotage as well as anti-personal.
- Hefty Boi: Designed around a miniature static generator, Rara did her best to shrink the technology, but could only do so much. This resulted in an above average sized grenade, meaning the weight of the beast is much higher than usual.
- EMP Prone: While the static generator inside is shielded with a small duraplast shell, a large pulse will render the grenades dead weight.
Originally designed as a thought experiment by Rara, as her financier Jonyna had barred her with working with high explosives, The Roar was designed with a single sentence in mind.
"How do you take out a mando?"
The answer? Lots of electricity. This was the result. A grenade that functions not as high explosive, but as a vehicle for storm delivery. While something like an arc caster or a tesla cannon would probably be more practical long term, Rara's mind came to the conclusion that such weapons would only give away the GA's stragety, as both have a very unique silhouette. But a grenade? No one expects a grenade.
