It had been a long couple of years. He'd been thrown into this whole mess, baby-faced and naive. The war had taken a toll on the young man named Cadmon Lussk. He'd strode in, puffing his chest out and wanting nothing more than to save lives and get these brave men and women home to their families. That initial optimism was shut down early, as most ghastly wounds and injuries were above the skills of a trained medic. They required something of a higher magnitude, and Cadmon had no idea how something as regal and noble as the Force could be used to tear apart people like this.

He despised the Sith. He couldn't bring himself to hate them, as much as he wanted to - lest he stoop to their level of nihilism and hatred. It was hard to move forward and past all of that, past the images of men crying out for him, dying in his arms as he pleaded to whatever Gods to lend him their aid. Of course the men he'd saved made it all worth it. They thanked him, bought him drinks whenever possible, and Cadmon had even seen a few with their families near the end of the Sith-Republic hostilities.

They were his purpose.

But now his time in service had ended, and frankly, the man had nowhere else to go.

Cadmon sighed and shifted his grip on the pair of duffel bags clutched tightly in his hands. He was garbed in simple brown and tan fatigues, a black backpack on his shoulders, and Gideon waited patiently by his side.

"Let's go, boy. I'm pretty sure the station up ahead is still selling tickets." He cocked his head towards the flashing lights of the starport's entrance window. "Let's get offa this rock."

Weird mess of Jedi
As towers flew high and rails came to block any light that managed to trickle past the beautiful skyscrapers of the city, a dark and most beautiful casting fell onto the spaceport and marketplace of Chazwa, only illuminated with the advertisements flying around, the occasional light shining from a building, and the screens of those who chose to accompany their holopads as a source of companionship rather than testing their luck right in front of their own forms.
Among the dirtied streets of trash and items of disposal laying on the ground, walked a young Jedi who had been so far having weak luck with her training. Never could she manage to wrap her hands around the perfect master, but in time, she reassured herself, in time she could find someone. Her mind danced in the mist of the crowd, until suddenly interrupted by a buzzing in her pants. After taking an empty spot near the edge of the street, the girl pulled out the pad, turning into a disguise much like those who surrounded her, eyes googling at their devices. Her eyes quickly flickered over the message, then she pocketed it and continued on her way.
At least some people in this city weren't completely corrupt...

Soon Abbey came across the man, and his mechanical dog. With curiosity rising at the adorable form, she took her travels out of her priorities and came to the two forms with her own, cloaked partly in a robe, only showing her pale face and hair. Without a warning she came a few inches from uncomfortably close and pointed to the mechanical beast. "That's a cute droid. Where'd ya get it?" She asked with a soft trickle in her voice of curiosity.

The pair strolled towards the ticket booth with impunity. A few passerby had been rude, nearly bumping into them as their eyes remained fixated upon a variety of datapads, handheld gadgets, and whatever new electronic fad was current these days. Cadmon didn't bother with much of that and really only opted to just keeping a simple comlink on his person. Nothing too special, and nothing too fancy lest he attract the attention of Chazwa's most unsavory individuals

When Gideon shifted and gave a low, curt yip, Cadmon almost assumed he did. But the young man turned to face a short, cloaked woman approaching them rather quickly. Only her pale visage peeked out from behind the cowl and a bright smile curled her features, a soft and feminine voice ringing out with a question regarding his robotic companion.

"His name's Gideon, but most people just call 'im Giddy." He rested a hand upon the dog-bot's head and gave it a loving pat. "Special military issue, but he was going to be 'recycled and re-serviced' so I managed to convince my old commander to let me take him off of their hands."

The LOBO gave a low, cheerful bark.
