The Golden Rule
In setting up a new front for some upcoming taskings Arisa required the employment of agents to pad out her team of operatives. Ideally, a combination of competent crewmen to legitimize her operations, and a few characters with underworld connections to help her get her foot through the door. Taking a direct approach to acquiring the latter type would likely arouse suspicions, so she would have to gradually work toward those contacts by the exploiting shadier elements she discovered through legal channels.
Within no time, she already had some applicants lined up after checking out some of the contracting boards on the holonet. In this day and age, there was no shortage of experienced pilots and techies. One was to meet her on Yutan that day for an informal interview. At this point, the Corellian pretty much had the job, Arisa just needed to check to check out the woman in person to make sure they meshed well. The job called for extended tours in some dangerous corners of the galaxy, where they may be the only face she saw for weeks on end. It would make the time go a lot easier if it was a friendly one that she never developed an urge to drop-kick.
On the day of their meeting, Arisa waited on Locke's arrival right in the terminal of the sole major space-port of Yutan. She sat alone in a small port cafe, occupied with her normal activity of messing around on her datapad. On the small round table sat a cup of cooling latte, now almost forgotten as she had been turned off by the burnt taste of the overpriced coffee. When Locke finally touched down planetside, Arisa had instructed her to make a call and meet her at the cafe. Before her unfortunate experience with her latte, she had planned on taking lunch there, but a change of venue was an order.
