Gathering the Peices

Shakk was to travel to the planet Had Abbandon, a planet once known as a Sith garrison world. Now the planet was nearly abandoned, filled with scavengers and remains of the old One Sith Empire. Then again that's why she was there, to look for an artifact of the old empire. A mission from her father and one she was to take all the way to the end. It was a pretty easy mission, arrive on the planet, find the old temple, and recover the artifact. Well that's what her father had said, but the artifact was over 500 years old. She would have to feel it through the force just to find it, and that was no easy task.

She had hired a smuggler to assist with the taking of the artifact, her ship was of Mandalorian design, and they were in Sith territory. She would be shot out the sky, it would have been inevitable. So this prompt the hiring of a smuggler that could get her on the ground and pass the planets sensors, and back out again. She was paying well for the smuggler to get her on the ground, she would also accompany Shakk on her excavation.

She walked up to the ships bridge, she needed to talk with someone, the flight was boring and long. She didn't much speak with the smuggler when she hired her, but if she was to watch her back then best to talk with her before arriving.

"Hello," she said as she sat in the navigators seat, "how's the plan coming along?"

"Things are going fine, should be landing the ship soon. So what is this artifact we're searching for? You can tell me about it, I promise I won't try to take it from you. I make my living on spice and getting people into places they shouldn't be. I leave dealing in artifacts to others," Talani smirked a bit, glancing over at Shakk. She usually didn't speak to her clients much, but the flight had been long and a bit boring. [member="Shakk Awaud"] [member="Tugoro Taidarious"]

Shakk knew very little of the artifact, just that her father wanted it, and if he wanted it, he would get it. All she knew was that the artifact was of importance of research and he needed it for study. What really concerned her was what she was willing to warn her new partner about.

"I wouldn't think you would want the artifact, you ever heard of the creatures of myth, the Rakghoul?" Shakk brough up a historical data on her data pad and held it out to the smuggler, "the artifact uses Sith Magic to create them, though the artifact is dormant now and possible not even on the planet."

Having taken an interest in the Sith and their ways, Tugoro found himself in their ancient territory, his Aleph superfighter pulling out of hyperspace nearby the planet of Had Abbandon. Exhaling loudly, the youth would begin to rapidly press many buttons and fiddle with several levers, preparing his ship for atmospheric entry. Most would scold the young Padawan for his recklessness, but he did not care, for it was what helped him gain experience. It wasn't like he had an actual master, for all of his previous ones were too busy. Sucking his teeth a bit at the thought, Tugoro would scowl, figuring he didn't need them anyway. He had learned enough, and the way his brain worked he was easily able to practice and improve on his own. A disturbance in the force would suddenly wrack the boy's body, as another ship pulled out of hyperspace nearby.

Given that the youth's starfighter was of Sith design, the duo of [member="Shakk Awaud"] and [member="Sar'Talani'Vek"] would probably get a scare once he was spotted. Unsure if they were friend or foe, the Jedi would grip his craft's controls, pulling it around and easing the throttle to advance on the unidentified craft.

"Looks like we made a friend, you expected anyone else to help us on this little journey?" she asked, taking notice that her ships radar seemed to be showing another ship following them. She did her best to ignore it as she landed the ship in a nice, secluded location fairly close to where the artifact was supposed to be. There was enough room for a second ship to land in the area as well, in case there little buddy was a friend. If he wasn't, well Talani didn't carry so many knives for nothing. The sleek, shining Aleph starfighter would indeed set itself down among the clearing, it's gears extending as it touched down up the ground. Running his fingers over a few buttons and switches, Tugoro would disengage the engine, listening to it calm as the hum of his craft died. Lifting his arms, the young Jedi would quickly open the hatch out of his cockpit, his knees bending as he sprung out of the pilot's seat. Dressed in his casual attire which consisted of beige pants and a brown leather flight jacket, Tugoro would make himself apparent as his booted feet slammed down onto the metal of his ship. Hopping to the ground, the teen would waste little time as he darted across the ground, skidding to a halt in front of the unknown ship's entrance. Waiting patiently, the youth could only guess what [member="Sar'Talani'Vek"] and [member="Shakk Awaud"]'s reaction would be.
