- Power Granting: Harnessing the power of four crystals imbued with the Force millennia ago during the apex of the Koignalteth Empire, Lorale is granted the ability to cast Deadly Field, Force Maelstrom, Force Destruction, and Alter Environment, powers he is unable to wield without the gauntlet.
- Deadly Field: Bestowed by the Black Crystal, Lorale is able to heavily corrupt the land around him in a five-foot radius, withering any caught within it save for himself to the point of rotting skeletons.
- Force Maelstrom: Bestowed by the Blue Crystal, Lorale simultaneously protects himself whilst offensively devastating nearby enemies with powerful bursts of telekinesis and lightning.
- Force Destruction: Bestowed by the Red Crystal, Lorale projects a great blast of energy capable of massive destruction to anything caught within it, from buildings, bulkheads, and people. If enough focus is placed into this power, Lorale is capable of vaporizing his enemies
- Alter Environment: Bestowed by the Green Crystal, The most favored ability, Lorale is capable of changing the nature around him at will, forming great fields of fog and steam or lower the temperature to below-freezing levels.
- Crystal Changing Process: Unlike other weapons and armor that can be modified on the fly in the field of combat, the process of augmenting the Gauntlet's central core with one of the crystals is a timely event, taking hours due to the intricacy involved. This means that if time is of the essence, the wielder may be left without the Gauntlet entirely or with whatever crystal has been chosen.
- Corruptive Power: The power offered by the gauntlet can be more than the wielder can handle and thus can corrupt their mind into becoming psychotic tyrants, even wielder's such as Lorale Farmar.
- Typhon Dlukav's Last Resort: In accordance with this corruptive potential, Typhon Dlukav, fearing that the weapon would leave him a lasting legacy of terror, imbued it with something akin to a semi-sentience in that it holds constant surveying over its wielder. Should they fall too far into corruption, the gauntlet will detonate itself and whatever gem is equipped, utterly eradicating the wielder.
