  • Extremely force-attuned.
  • Elegant & adaptable, suited both for construction or finer crafting.
  • Found only in Geminidae.

  • Force Imbuing: The material is known for having a very peculiar reaction to the Force. Although on its own it will never be more than a pretty piece of rock, Geminian Marble is highly receptive to force-imbuing and the presence of force nexuses. Once imbued for a purpose, geminian marble will act as a magnifier and achieve far better results than any other material.
  • Force Imprinting: Alternatively, when exposed to a Force-source for a period of time, the marble will copy that source's Force imprint, emitting an identical imitation of the source's presence in the Force. Thanks to this property, geminian marble can be used as a decoy (by coping one's force-presence) or used to mask and replace a presence with another one (if used as jewelry, for example).
  • The Cracks: Surprisingly, it would seem Geminian Marble becomes stronger the closest it is to its destruction. Once imbued, its properties will strengthen if the marble cracks/takes damage but is not completely broken.

  • No room for Mistakes: Geminian marble can only be imbued and/or imprinted once. When it has adopted the properties attributed to it through imbuing and/or copied a force-presence, it will retain these characteristics until it is destroyed and they cannot be changed. Because of this, it is not recommended for unskilled force-users to tinker with the valuable resource, for it is easy to transform this treasure into trash if room for inaccuracy is allowed.
  • Destruction: Its ability to retain and magnify the force seems to be closely related to a minimal degree of integrity. Cracks strengthen its effect, but once the marble has been smashed/broken completely (eg: split in two), its properties will vanish and it will be no more than a broken piece of pretty rock.
  • Force Nullifiers: Its force-related properties are lost when in the presence of force-nullifying objects such as a void stone or an ysalamiri field.

Found in sediments throughout the mountain chains closest to lakes in the wild space planet Geminidae, Geminian Marble is one of the most prized and sought after materials native to the Consors System. For many years Geminians have been extracting it, the quarries dedicated to this among the most highly protected locations in the planet. Void stones and ysalamiri are often used within the quarries to create force-nullifying fields that protect the sediments from being tainted by the presence of unauthorized force-users and only a select few are entrusted to work with the material, often imbuing columns of it to possess specific characteristics according to different architectural designs or make it more beautiful and hypnotic when used in the crafting of sculptures or jewels. It took many years until all of its properties were discovered, although the reason as to why this rock seems to be so reactive to the Force still manages to elude explanation. The marble is only traded to highly-trusted entities outside of the Consors system, and given Geminidae's mistrustful and reclusive nature it is extremely rare to find any in other places of the galaxy.
