BIOGRAPHY:
Beyyr was born at the height of the Dark Age's isolationist paranoia. He was a leading voice in overcoming that paranoia and reconnecting with the ancient Wookiee colonies, though it took him a hundred years to make that voice heard throughout the sector. At some point in that period, he was initiated into the Claatuvac Guild.
With the dawn of the modern age, the Wookiee colony routes and secret paths needed to be refined and updated. Beyyr spent decades roaming and refining the lanes, and it was on that task that he found himself stranded on Belsavis. After two years surviving in the vaults and on the glaciers, he was rescued by an ODF expedition in desperate circumstances. He swore a life debt to the expedition's commander, a lieutenant who'd become the ship's captain only hours before when an accident wiped out the command crew. The lieutenant, the vessel's helmsman, was a young man named Jorus Merrill.
From that point on, Beyyr and Merrill flew together almost inseparably. Beyyr spent many years as pilot and copilot of the Gypsymoth, and served on Merrill's other vessels -- the Absolution, flagship of the old Rebel Alliance; the D'Lessio, a deadly raider; the Bullet Time, the finest blockade runner in history. Beyyr, along with the Kushiban Miktik, helped raise [member="Mara D'Lessio Merrill"]. He was deeply involved in the Vagrant Fleet, the creation of the Mara Corridor, and the exploration of the Rishi Maze, to name a very few. He taught navigation at the Levantine Astronautical Academy for a time. He fought the Fringe Confederation across the Unknown Regions. He flew outside the galaxy many times. He became of great importance to the Underground.

He has taught at the Levantine Astronautical Academy and served with the Underground for a very long time.
