Silly question here, but I don't remember seeing the answer (I could be crazy, don't hold it against me).

What are the rules/objectives here? Each touch is a point, last one standing, etc?

No point system. And the only rule is 'don't kill'.

Each thread will be judged by the judges and the winner decided on RP.

So are combatants going to be given time to rest inbetween rounds? Does this tournament take place over the course of days, or within a single day? Just wondering how tired people are going to be by the third or fourth rounds.

OOCly, the tournament will run at the pace of the writers. The first round may go for a week or two depending on that. I want to give everyone a chance to post and have a good fight before the threads are locked to be judged. And round two will start. This is a knock out system, for all combatants.

ICly, that is entirely up to you and the opposite writer. I would say a day but if it RPed longer that is fine as well.

Yes, I meant ICly. Sorry for not specifying.

I was more curious about the entire tournament length. From my reading, you seem to be referring to a single match. I'm asking about the whole tournament, a single day, with breaks only when others are fighting, or are the matches spaced out over the course of several days (like one round per day, with the semi-finals and finals on the last day)?

I would say over a week. So ICly there would be time to recover between each round.
