General Rules (Read First, Please)

Best Karking Healer. Ever.
General Rundown:
  • 100% Neutral: The policy is to heal everyone, no matter what faction they belong to or what race they are. We do not discriminate.
  • Pacifists: As a group of healers, whose sole concern is to bring medical relief to those who either cannot afford or cannot receive high-tech medical attention, we are pacifists. We will not have an army, and do not promote aggressive actions. That being said, self-defense is not entirely banned and no motions will be made to prevent members from learning it.
  • Requirements:
Healers: You can be a Force User, or you can be a Non Force User. You can be a Sith or a Jedi. You can be any race, and have any religious beliefs. The only requirement is that you have at least a basic knowledge of some sort of medical practice, preferably for physical wounds. However, if you specialize in healing emotional or other psychological problems, come on in!
  • Non-Healers: These are the folks who donate their services for carrying medical supplies and people (both healers and patients) which the Guild would need. What you do on your own time is none of the Guild’s concern, but we do ask that, while you are in our service, you put aside your personal grudges for someone, at least while in our “space”.

[*]Techniques: As a healer, it is nearly impossible to know EVERY SINGLE TYPE OF FIX for a wound. Because of this, the exchange of tips is encouraged amongst members! Keep in mind, though, that the techniques of the Healer’s Guild are kept closely-guarded, and should not be shared with outsiders. Take the cure-all made from carsunum spice, for instance.
[*]Income/Jobs: Members are more than welcome to take jobs not through the guild, though the insurance policy will still apply. The general breakdown of income from both Guild-given jobs and independent jobs are as follows:
  • Guild Assignments: Since the assignment and details of the job are primarily handled by the guild, the expected amount of credits will range anywhere from 30% - 40%, based on:
    Amount of initial payment
  • Costs of damages to both equipment and injuries incurred by the healer (if any)
  • Dangers encountered during the job

[*]Independent Jobs: Since these were either actively sought out by the healer OR presented by a party ONLY interested in that specific healer, the expected amount of credits given to the Guild will normally be anywhere from 5%-15%, depending on initial payment.

[*]Donations Made By Outside Parties: Any donation, whether it be equipment or credits, will be used 100% towards the betterment of the Guild, including but not limited to:
  • Tending to our own wounded
  • Maintaining medical equipment
  • Maintaining our headquarters
  • Covering any incurred expenses

[*]Goal/Purpose: To bring the Healer’s Guild out of the shadows and create a strong organization which seeks to bring medical aid to all, as well as give a sense of unity to the independent healers.
[*]Other note: Groups may contact us if they require a healer or two or seven for an event. An appropriate price will be discussed with the chosen healer(s) for their services, and it is fully expected of the group to keep the healer(s) alive and at least somewhat close to their original condition. No refunds if the healer is severely injured or killed – the money paid along with any collateral will be used to either treat the healer or be awarded to the healer’s family/next-of-kin.

Just some general rules, first and foremost. If you think something should be added or changed, feel free to post below.

How will donations from outside members work?
This is a new med guild, we have to acquire or buy herbs and such so is work outside the guild prohibited or do the proceeds from the job go to the guild?
