Generic noob inquiries

I'll keep this relatively short. Been lurking on the board for a few hours now, and figured I may as well join. Just checking in if canon races are commonly used, if allowed. Was initially going to make some generic Mandalorian pc, but then go to wondering what other people were doing with their own characters. For some reason got to thinking maybe I want to make a Wookiee or something. Just curious if other people have done this in the past.

Well I played a Mando for a bit and they are pretty fun to rp. Also they have quite a bit of Beskar armour so it'll be difficult for you to be killed by most stuff.

Yes, like [member="Atheus"] stated, you may RP any race not listed in the banned species. There are quite a few alien races on the board. You can even submit your own unique species to the Codex if you wish to RP a character unique to the universe! Let us know if you have any other questions. There is no shortage of helpful hands.
