- Strengths: Due to the genetic modifications that were made during his growth period, Genesis enjoys a physical condition that surpasses that of an average Human. To be exact, his strength, speed, reflexes, dexterity, and other areas of physical condition are approximately thirty percent greater in terms of effectiveness than that of his prime clone. In addition, the growth period procedures also resulted in the assimilation of the entirety of Dex Rostu's memories; including locations, the internal structure of the Republic, tactics, strategies, plans, and everything in-between. Genesis also gained invaluable "experience" from gaining the memories of such a seasoned soldier, as well as a basic understanding of the cultures Dex had prior interactions with during his lifetime.
On another note, part of Genesis' flash training revolved around the usage of various weapons, the exercising of various hand-to-hand combat forms, and the piloting of the entirety of the Republic's vehicles. While he is, by no means, an expert in piloting these vehicles, he understands the basic mechanics of them to the point where he can turn a vehicle on and effectively pilot it from point A to point B; but little more than that.
- Weaknesses: One of the most unfortunate side effects of the cloning process, which was immediately attempted to be addressed by those who had created him, was the development of mental instabilities due to the duality of the memories Genesis would experience. From the moment of his awakening, he has been assaulted by the memories of Dex Rostu, while making his own with each and every day. The counseling he underwent did aide in not succumbing to the utter madness which claimed his one hundred fellows, but the sessions did not give him immunity from the instability. This has lead to him developing radical, erratic behaviors and thought processes. While these have yet to impair his success upon the field of battle, they pose an enormous risk; especially if the symptoms worsen with time.
The other unfortunate side effect of the cloning process is the presence of physical deformities within the body. While none crippling deformities have developed over the course of his existence, there exists a chemical imbalance within Genesis a a result of his creation. He has to ingest a specific dosage of medical supplements in order to bring a temporary balance to his system semi-weekly, lest his body wreak absolute havoc upon itself and result in his death in a matter of days.

On the same day that the Supreme Chancellor of the Senate, Grandmaster of the Jedi Order, and Supreme Commander of the Grand Army met to officially reform the Galactic Republic, a surprise attack upon the capital was launched by two operatives of the Sith Empire. While unscathed by the encounter, the late Supreme Commander, Dex Rostu, realized that the impending war would result in the placing of a hefty price on his life. After all, his death would mean cutting the head off of the Grand Army's chain of command and result in the demoralization of the troop population. As such, he formulated a rather daring plan in order to assure that this would not come to fruition through commissioning the cloning experts on Khomm to create a number of clones in his image.
Their purpose was simple: act as body doubles for the Supreme Commander at various political ventures. This way, should an assassin breach the Republic's security, the attack would fail to claim Dex's life. However, in time, the aging veteran began to burn with a desire to fight alongside the brave men and women who volunteered their lives to fight in the name of the Republic. He yearned for a chance to stand beside them as a comrade in arms; yet was confined upon the bridge of his ship barking orders. This reality led to a second request to the residents of Khomm: the creation of a series of clones whose abilities surpassed his own. Soldiers, greater than he in every aspect, who could fight alongside the Grand Army of the Republic bearing his visage.
Thus were RC-000X and his ninety-nine "brothers" conceived within a series of pods. Over the course of three years, the cloners labored over the one hundred copies, modifying them in order to be stronger, faster, and better than the average human. They programmed their minds in order to feel nothing but the utmost loyalty to the Republic, in particular its military, and also programmed an inferno of aggression to be unleashed upon any and all members of the Sith Empire. Furthermore, the cloners made it a point to include the extensive memories of Dex Rostu in the one hundred's "flash training".
Then, at the turn of the third year since the commission, the clones were released from their pods and inhaled their first breaths of air...yet only twenty of the one hundred lasted more than the first hour. These twenty were promptly examined for any deformities or abnormalities, and having found none were immediately moved to the next stage of preparation. The cloners commissioned a series of counciling sessions, first and foremost, to introduce the clones into the world. Their hopes were to address the duality of the memories which would soon develop in the clones' minds early on, as to hopefully prevent utter madness on their part. In addition, they began to move the clones through the most rigorous of training routines in order to condition their bodies and minds for the hell of war they were about to dive into.
By the time a year had passed, disaster upon disaster had unfolded within the twenty. Half of their midst had, despite the counciling, gone completely insane. Five of the remaining ten had developed crippling deformities later on, and out of the remaining five, only one managed to survive the brutal training. He, designated RC-000X, was given the symbolic name Genesis and began the final portion of his preparations: "on the job" learning. For a period of a single year, he was thrown into the midst of war as a simple soldier and given the expectation to fight, lead, and decimate the enemy. That he did with great success.
Unfortunately, by the time this period had come to a conclusion, Dex Rostu had lost his life in the aftermath of an ambush by the Sith Empire. This came as a heavy blow to Genesis, as Dex had come to be someone the clone looked up to; not only just because he was the original, but because of the fact that he was the leader of the soldiers he regularly warred alongside.
From this point, as the commissioner of the project was deceased, Genesis was introduced to the special forces of the Republic and given the authority to compose a small squad that would have quite a large fact in common with him: just as he was a secret, so would this unit. It would be a collection of elite soldiers and operatives unlike any other, charged with making the hard decisions that the Republic cannot. The missions considered "suicide" or "immoral" in the eyes of the Galaxy at large, but would result in the growth of the Republic's influence and the crippling of the Sith Empire were this unit's duty to carry out...
Genesis couldn't have asked for a better job. And so came into being the Phantoms of the Republic.
