2.Can I just randomly join a faction or should I ask first?

2. Yeah pretty much. Just make a character and join their discords.

Signatures you can access in your profile. Click your icon in the top left corner and you get a drop down with a bunch of options. Flair settings, account details, that sort of think. Signature should be in there. Right under preferences.


Edit: You should be able to make sub-accounts there, which is how you make more characters and all that good stuff.
