Gettin' Some Cortosis, Require Kickbutt Force User

Ya, so- the title is pretty self explanatory.

me and my bro [member="Tajje"] are working on submissions in the factory. But we (mostly myself, because I'm a weird child) realised we needed Dev threads for certain metals. Since I might want to use cortosis in my armor, and maybe for our ship, we need a Dev thread. Since Luthian IC already knows how to forge and make cool stuff, all we need is an excavation thread. It's gonna be a small search, since a duo isn't a very big work force.

So ya, if you're a force user who want to kick butt- or the other way around. Make a post if you're interested.

The dev thread requirement in the factory is to mine, excavate, or sabotages a mining job. It's either 'get the metal' or 'get destroyed by a force user'.

Yep! I've done both on different characters, and I think the "get destroyed by a Force user" is more enjoyable.

Seeing as how I'm starting out untrained in most areas, I won't let a crushing victory go to my head if we try to RP the confrontation out. We can PM or Skype chat how we want such a thread to go down. Are you interested in this avenue? It sounds more exciting then mining, although we still need to work out how you'd get cortosis out of it.

Speaking of cortosis, I'd like to put it out there that its qualities are good for shorting and negating electric currents. In other words, it can shut off a lightsaber on contact. However, the material itself is extremely brittle. It's not good for anything else like slug throwers, vibro weapons and blunt trauma/shock. Phrik is the way to go for that. Now, this is what I remember when I last researched and talked this over with a fellow Star Wars enthusiast.

I felt like bringing it up because someone at some point decided to make the entire outer hull be cortosis on a large OS ship. I laughed, grinned evilly and told my group "Pop some popcorn and fire torpedoes!"
