Getting back in the saddle

Rishi, 1700 hours.
Gherron looked out at the dense, green planet before him as his mind went through several scenarios as to how this would go down. Josh had left his group of padawan a on their own missions, and so had decided to help Gherron get back out into the galaxy to do some good. So, here they were, about to stop a slave trade between some transdoshans and weequay. ”So, what do you think? General stealth mission, sneak in and grab the slaves while they’re not looking? Or just rush in and stab everything to death? Besides... besides the slaves obviously.” Admittedly, it had been quite a while since he had done any kind of hero stuff. He’d been safe and secure with his new life on Chandrila, raising a family and, for once in his life, not being worried about dying the next day. The truth was, however, that he needed this. He’s been trying to scratch an itch he barely knew he had for months now. Hopefully some action and general heroics would do the trick. As he waited for his old friend’s reply, he took the ship down into the atmosphere and searched for a good spot to land that was close enough to their mission, but not too close that they would be spotted.

It was... Interesting. Nostalgic, even, to go missioning with Gherron again. He couldn't recall much if they'd gone on missions much together while they were Master and Padawan. Gherron hadn't waited even a day or so before ditching him the first time, and he'd disappeared here and there in their second run. Regardless, it didn't matter what was then, as this was now. He was working with his old Padawan again, whether for the first time in ages or the first time in general. This time though... The both of them stood as equals.

Masters.

Regardless, the both of them knew that despite having families now... Their work could never be done. They had families, but what were they willing to do to keep them? They couldn't remain holed up in their homes for risk of their enemies coming to them... They needed to strike first. This was as good a start as any. And seeing as slavers had already kidnapped Jason and Arcturus once... Something he wasn't sure if Nef had told Gherron... Well, they'd already struck first. Now he wanted to make sure it never happened again.

Not to say the same ones who'd taken Jason away would be able to... They were dead now. Josh had seen to that. It was a rare show of fury for him, a rare show of something nobody had seen from him before. He hoped it wouldn't happen again. But he had resigned to the fact now... He would do anything for Shmi and Jason. Anything.

The Jedi would look out at the planet below before giving a calm reply.

"Always attempt stealth first. If all else fails, we cleave our way through. Standard procedure."
