OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
Galaxy's Finest Comics, better known as GF Comics, is one of the oldest and most well-known intergalactic holocomics companies, with origins dating back to the 400 Year Darkness. Taking advantage of a higher demand for entertainment revolving around saving the galaxy, GF created a fictional universe populated by superheroes. Their most culturally popular and iconic character is the masked vigilante Bright Knight, though they feature a massive lineup of heroes and villains.
RATIONALE
Epic Ink, a publishing company based out of Coruscant, was floundering. The Four Hundred Year Darkness had created a veritable black hole of media, and there was a rise in the demand for uplifting entertainment. In a last ditch attempt to avoid bankruptcy, they took an intern's half-baked idea and ran with it, setting two of their writers, Cato Sibwarra and Sissk Ossk, to work on a new holocomics line to be published under their new subsidiary Galaxy's Finest Comics. Sibwarra and Ossk came up with Bright Knight, whose runaway success on the market would make him the company's flagship character. Together with other writers, Sibwarra and Ossk went on to create the GF Comics universe.
