Ghosts and Glasses (Dom of Cerea) OCC

I'm putting this OCC thread up so we can communicate and regroup since the dom has become a bit of a cluster. And when that happens, posting becomes a chore. Let's get this dom done so we can move forward to bigger and better things.


These were the original objectives:

• [D] Engage Vaagari troops within the Outsider Citadels.
• [E] CST's and Jaguars infiltrate low-orbiting Vaagari command ship.
• [F] Organize a forward-base for continued operations.

Intelligence

• [G] Scramble Vaagari communications
• [H] Intercept Vaagari agents on the ground
• Slice Vaagari battle net, provide intel to Navy and Marine Corps on Vaagari movements
  

Our initial enemy was the Vagaari (NPC), but now the Swarm (PC) have joined in the fight against the Commonwealth.

Dean just regrouped with the 906th Infantry in the upper levels of the Citadel. Perhaps you could be one of the grunts within the unit?

If there are any Marines or Ground RP'ers.

[member="Eli Brooks"] and Cait are RPing an entire platoon of Marines. I've deliberately left exact force-numbers obscure because...well its a casual RP board, we don't need exact TO&E Tables haha. But ball-park the force in the ~40-ish range.

We've got two of us, and then [member="Zee"] is off with an ad hoc Sniper Team, she hasn't named NPC's, she needs a spotter and a rear-guard.

There are *plenty* of spots left in our platoon.

Eli is the Platoon NCO
Cait is the 3rd Squad NCO.

Everything else...is wide open.

We just arrived at the Vaagari compound and pretty soon we'll be Troops in Contact. It should be super fun, so feel free to jump right in. Take over 2nd Squad, be a random grunt...I would love a Heavy Weapons Guy.

We're not SPARTANS or Space Marines (a la 40k). We're regular dudes with rifles. We've got room for YOU if you wanna come.

Well folks, given circumstances it looks like I'm going to end up having to break myself out of my holding action by the crashed dropship. Any recommendations for where I should go once I break out? We could sneak through enemy lines to [member="Cait Falcor"] and [member="Eli Brooks"] platoon or we could just as easily slot ourselves in with the survivors from the life pods with [member="Sasha Starkos"] and the others. All suggestions welcome! Or I could fly by the seat of my pants, that could be fun too.
