Gi’Yarr Shale is the first son of the Alor of Clan Shale, Gar Shale . Heir of a prominent wiseman of Rishi Enclave, Gi’Yarr was groomed to be the successor of Gar. However, he never showed talent nor interest in diplomacy and statesmanship. His father was similar in this regard when he was younger, but he was a big personality that excel in making friends and handling the crowd. Gi’Yarr, on the other hand, was a reserved kid that spent more time reading history books in his chamber and practicing combat. ​

Over time, his father started resenting him for not being the heir he expected Gi’Yarr to be, and it strained their relationship forever. Thousands of disagreement later, with crisis in Vlemoth Port and his father’s effort to lead Rishi Enclave to join Mandalorian Enclave, Gi’Yarr left the planet and his family, taking a mantle of a hired gun.​

Until his father passed, Clan Shale lost influence on Rishi Enclave and Mandalorian Enclave politics, and Gi’Yarr inherited the Alor title. With the weight of a spiralling clan on his shoulder, Gi’Yarr and Clan Shale’s few remaining entourage wander the galaxy for a purpose.​
