Strengths:

• Stygian Triprismatic Polymer:

Unlike the GI-6 the C variant uses full STP plating, giving a unpainted variant of the armor a almost pure black color. This permits the armor a great deal of durability vs Light Sabers, Blasters and EMPs. The plating being full STP also helps the armor with sound, even assisting in quieting the over all sound produces by the armor. This also fixing the its sibling weakness to sound but increasing the over all cost given STP is harder to produce.

• ​Silent:

Well the armor is quite heavy compared to its sibling, with the sound dampeners and the STP combined together it permits the armor to make almost no sound. Making it a proficient tool for special operations, a side effect of this though is the effect is broken if the belt is broken or if the user uses a Vibro blade given the loud sound goes beyond a controllable level for the silencing system of the armor.

• Comfort:

​The one thing the GI-6 does not share with its predecessors is the fact it was made as a armor for bounty hunters and mercenaries, not armies. This fact means it was required to be well liked by its buyers and the best way to ensure that is to ensure comfort well wearing it and the ability to shrug off attackers. With this in mind the armors climate control and body glove were created to ensure the armor fit perfectly to its wearer and would keep them in comfort no matter the environment. Along with this the armor was shaped to handle most races and be easily modified to fit bodies in a way that would not cause discomfort.

• Close Quarters Combat:

​Well the armor is quite heavy, it has several systems to assist users in close quarters combat such as hidden Vibroblades and even a shock glove that are capable of blocking even a lightsaber permitting the user a higher level of defense even against Jedi. To further ensure one can carry out movements required for high level of CQC the joints are kept from locking permitting more freedom of movement than most other Heavy armors.

Weaknesses:

• Joints:

Due to the plates being modified for comfort and freedom of movement the joints in the armor have become noticeable weak points for attackers, well trained marksmen could cause a great deal of damage to a user if given time to aim. Along with it permitting more mobility to further causes it to be a known target for users.

• Explosive Jump Pack:

Given the highly volatile fuel that rests in the jump pack to permit it short flight capabilities, if badly damaged it could cause the user to either lose control of become a large mobile bomb damage foes and allies alike.

• Costly:

The armor was initially started as a project to fix the weakness of its predecessor but in doing so it greatly increased the over all price, this fact forced the Gallows to make it a Officer and Special forces only armor within their ranks.

• Trained:

​Well the armor has a wide array of capabilities for close quarters combat, none of that matters if the user lacks any training to make proper use of such equipment, for that reason the armor is not something someone can simply pick up and use perfects given its a weapon of a sorts.

DESCRIPTION

After the Gallows began to make large scale use of the Thunder armor, its weakness was apparent, well easily upgrade it some hoped to completely fix the issue launching several variations to be produced over the years follow Tesari taking over the group. Well some variants never saw the light of day, Tesari personally liked the design of the GI-6C variant which had been meant as a officer armor favored by the Jilruans who excelled at CQB. To that end it became a widely liked armor among both the Jilruans and many officers who liked the fact it had fixed the major weakness, though being more costly they figured it would function better as a command and control armor. To be used by battlefield officers and special forces to ensure the experience they had was better protected and the load out on the armor was better made for commanding squads of units. With a encrypted communicator and HUD that was specifically designed for controlling squads or even entire companies of troops. With real time data on location, health and communication it made the armor excellent for commanders. Special forces favored it for its silencing systems and excelling at close quarters combat, so not long after field tests it was put into production not as a complete replacement of the GI-6 but as a stand alone upgrade for more elite members of the Gallows. Given the loadout it was given, it was seen as better to make the upgrade into the armor taking away the modular ability of its predecessor.

Since the Gallows joined the Black Suns it has been seen in wide use as the elite variant armor of the Gallows though due to its costs and favor of the Gallows it has not become a wide dispersed armor within the Black Sun Cartels compared to its predecessor.
