STRENGTHS
  • State-Of-The-Art BANG-BANG: Carrying fully modernized weapons and shielding systems
  • Modularity: It can also take Multiple weapon types in its weapon slots, capable of switching between either depending on the mission, and can have it's color altered. It's standard energy torpedo system functions underwater and has multiple damage modes: Standard, Stun, Incendiary, and Ion
  • Speed Force: Naturally High Speed and agility befitting a TIE, which increases to very high in both categories when using a SLAM Drive
  • Defense: What it lacks in weapons it makes up for in sheer survivability, able to withstand hits that would vaporize other fighters, with a wide range of electronic defense and countermeasures, plus, it's got technologies from the Predator interdiction drive, allowing it to generate a small interdiction field around it that might possibly slow down enemy units in very close range.
  • Teleporter: Can use its Microjump Capacitor to make very short range hyper space jumps. It's Subdrive Module allows it to rapidly reposition itself by accelerating to FTL Speeds in relativity to its immediate surroundings, allowing it to potentially escape Interdiction Fields. It's Path Engine allows it to travel through non-standard routes through hyperspace
  • Run ANYWHERE: It's got a truly astounding ability to flee just about anywhere in an emergency. It's shielding and engines, which work on gravitational principles, allow it to get three times closer to the gravitational pull of a star than most other fighters for extended periods, and escape, even at relatively low speeds. It's technology also allows it to survive and operate underwater for extended periods of up to two days. It's also got a starfighter grade Heat Resistor System that allows it to dive into and survive Magma for a period of half an hour, as well as operate in extremely hot environments without danger to the pilot.
  • Survival: Contains a slew of modern pilot survival supplies, including weapons specifically chosen for their compact nature should they be forced to make a landing in hostile territory
  • Commando: It's outer Hull layer possesses an adaptive camouflage system that allows the hull a limited ability to blend into whatever terrain it finds itself in, and it possesses a conformal Optical Camo System to frustrate purely visual targeting. It's Grav Engine system potentially makes it slightly harder to track for enemy ship sensors and missile locks reliant on thermal tracking. One happy accident of pairing the Grav engines with this space frame was that the 'whine' it produced in atmosphere was twenty percent quieter than the engine of a TIE Fighter, potentially making it take slightly longer before it can be heard
  • Spider Sense: It possesses a HIMA system, which can force it out of hyperspace earlier upon detecting an incoming gravity swell. It's Electrotelescope targeting system allows it to passively scan a very small section of space to look for threats while reducing the risk of detection. It can also be used in conjunction with its standard cannon and torpedo system to sniped far away targets with pinpoint accuracy from their standard cannon system (Weapon targeting function will not function with non-standard weapon systems)
  • Self Reliant: Has a Self Repairing Laminanium Hull that fixes itself very slowly from heavy damage over the course of a week and self repair drones that restore itvto minimal function (Life Support, Engines, very weak Shields Hyperdrive) with the rest needing drydock , and there is it's power system which lasts a very long time without recharging.
  • Symbiotic: It's piloting systems are designed to allow as much integration between standard Organic/Cyborg pilot and fighter.
  • Nuetralizer Friendly: Piloting systems calibrated to interface with all known models of Nuetralizer, but calibrated specifically to allow the Model 0 Nuetralizer to fly without risk of his pain numbing systems or Emotional Inhibitor systems malfunctioning during flight.
WEAKNESSES
  • Squadron Count: Due to the expense of its creation, while it can be mass produced, its only going to be a count of four per squadron
  • Low Armament: It can ultimately only mount one laser cannon and one heavy weapon system
  • Modularity limits: Though it has multiple options for offense , the fighter only has room for one weapon system in each slot
  • You must be truly desperate: It should be emphasized that making a dive into magma with this fighter should be dreaded by any pilot faced with that prospect: While flying through Magma, all other shielding systems except it's non gravity based energy shield stay active to help take the strain of the heat resistor, and only ground penetrating sensors allow a pilot to navigate through an ocean of magma. However, you can only fly at very low speeds to avoid overtaxing the system, and the possibility of the heat resistor failing is never zero. You need to be beyond desperate to even be considering it. That being said, to paraphrase Mister Marsden: "If the enemy has anything that can track and hit you through molten magma, they deserve to."
  • Underwater weakness: None of your shielding systems work under water. And you can move at only very low speeds and can only fire your energy torpedos, which have half their range underwater.
  • Commando Weakness : Neither of its camouflage systems hide it from standard sensors, with the Optical Camo Field only covering the fighter in a heat wave like distortion that is visible up close and slightly harder to spot from afar
  • Interdiction weakness: It's defensive inter diction field can only remain active 7 seconds before it needs 35 seconds to recharge.
  • Thin Hull: It's hull is thin, making it more vulnerable to seismic and kinetic impacts
DESCRIPTION

The Gravity Influenced Engine Fighter or G.I.E. Fighter (Pronounced as 'Guy' in verbal use of Acronym), Formal designation GIE/LN was supposed to be the next generation Starfighter of House Io's pure organic pilots , completely replacing the earlier TIE/Ret it's military had supplied such pilots with. Strelok gave the schematics to the design away to the House Io Defectors before fleeing both them and Khemost. It's qualities have proven so useful it has been decided to adopt it as the official Starfighter of House Bloodscrawl.

However, there is nothing stopping others from keeping it should they encounter one. Or replicating it
