STRENGTHS
- It’s a big stick: Kanabo is a large club-like weapon covered in studs, they are meant to smash bone and armor. Getting hit with one isn't exactly forgiving and while it wouldn't kill, it will more than likely break something. This is the hands of something the size of Gierhyst means and horrid time is about to be had at the end of this bat.
- It’s meant to cause pain: This special made Kanabo is designed to cause the most amount of pain possible through electricity and sheer force. The electrical system within the club is similar to an electrostaff but less severe of a shock. This allows him to hit with the Kanabo and damage something but not kill it.
- It’s tough: Due to its base materials of Phrik and songsteel, it’s nearly indestructible and highly resistant to lightsabers. If Gierhyst ever needed to go toe-to-toe with a lightsaber-wielding force user, this is his go-to.t.
WEAKNESSES
- It was much too big to be called a stick: It is a large weapon, even to Gierhyst. He can wield the weapon with one hand but his swings would be off balance and slow. It is meant to be used with two hands.
- The Nerve: If something hit with the Kanabo lacks or has dampened it’s pain receptors the secondary effect is reduced or nullified. Robots only take damage from the Kanabo, cyborgs and augmented people may resist this weapon depending on the nature of their enhancements.
DESCRIPTION
Pacifism was the way of most of his people. He had been a pacifist for some time, but he grew bored with the peace. He found catch and release of large animals interesting enough and bounty hunting fun. However one can't just punch everything, He realized one fated night, losing limb after limb to a lightsaber. Sometimes words and politely asking doesn't work. He needed a big stick, so he got to reading, got to collecting, and finally he got to building. Now when someone thinks about slicing and dicing him to pieces, he brandishes this persuader and kindly asks them to come along.
