On its own it will only amplify one’s inner strength, when used as a primary crystal in a lightsaber it will not only amplify inner strength, but also increase determination and focus abilities. As a secondary crystal it will only assist in focus abilities with a chance to increase determination. As a crystal within a lightsaber it will bond with the wielder of that lightsaber through the force.
Strengths:
[+] Increased Focus: Enables the wielder to increase their focus abilities.
[+] Willpower: Amplifies the wielder’s inner strength and will.
[-] Fear: The Gilarian Crystal is weak against fear, for if it is one thing that can kill power. Fear, fear of self, fear of failure, fear of death and as such the crystal will lose its properties should its wielder succumb to fear (rather their fears).
[-] Batteries: The stronger the will of the user, the more power the crystal is going to require. So the user of this crystal will need to modify their lightsaber to be able to handle the increased demand of energy.
[+/-] Bonded: As a crystal this does nothing to bond with anyone, as a lightsaber crystal however it begins to form a connection through the force with the wielder. Enabling the wielder to draw on the crystal’s unique properties, and allowing for the crystal become even stronger over time.
Far below the Oan in the depths of Vorthal where Kolto is cultivated. In a cave within the great chasm itself rests a set of crystals. Unknown to most of the galaxy, crystals that hold a unique property. They almost echo in the mind and in the spirit of those who hold them, of those who wield them. They echo the spirit of the Gilarian people and their will to survive. Willpower can be such an underestimated thing, for without the will to survive without the will to live or to fight. Where would we as a galaxy be? This crystal was discovered by the Knights of Ren who went to locate kolto on the behalf of the First Order.
As they began to collect samples of the Gilarian kolto they found the cave. And it was exactly what Mishel Ren was looking for. She could feel the effects of the Gilarian crystal, it felt as if it spoke to her lightside powers and seemed to want to pull her away from the dark. It amplified willpower, and how amazing was that? Willpower to be able to rely on it when you feel you’ve been beaten to have the courage and the will to stand back up for yourself.
Mishel collected a few of the crystals and left with the other Ren out of the chasm and back to Alouten. The crystals were stored in a secured crate and went with her back to Siverra. There she took her tools and linked up with the Jedi [member="Jorus Merrill"].
