Geneviève Lasedri
Fascists hate her!
Bad things were coming. The Benefactor had received news via a trusted member of her closer staff that a message had been sent from 'Katarn'. The new bounty issued for the mysterious leader of the Rebellion had apparently drawn the flies, and the Togorian had had a rather unpleasant encounter with an unknown hunter. Counter-bounties had been posted for the capture of this particular predator, but there were certainly more of them. And someone now knew of their secret base on Heklor. The base was never expected to last forever undiscovered, but the timing felt much too soon, and they were not prepared to fund the construction of a new base just yet, with resources recently diverted to build a fleet. At least they still had Praesitlyn.
Lasedri herself had returned to the Alliance's secondary base to oversee the evacuation of personnel and priority artifacts. Top-secret fighters needed to be transported out of the factory, and important documents needed to be erased and computers either shipped out or burned. It was time to purge all signs of their operations in this part of the galaxy.
The leader of this unpopular group of freedom fighters lingered in the hangar where three of the brand new blockade runners idled as their crews prepped for takeoff. She would be embarking on her own of the three, the Intangible, as soon as her final debriefing with General Kar and resigning General Mrrew was finished. The usually non-emotive woman sighed and somberly addressed the two. "Thank you for arriving on this short notice. I especially appreciate your quick service, Kar." She nodded at the Mandalorian, sincerely grateful for having someone to step up to the task as her right-hand man stepped down.
Turning to Mrrew, Gen pursed her lips, knowing the risk he had taken to alert her and possibly save her life and the Rebel Alliance's war effort. After a moment of pause, she smirked and offered her hand to shake. It might be the last time they meet. "Of all people, I trust a Beast Hunter to know how to lay a trap."
