Celeste had a rather complicated spreadsheet which listed all the dishes she was preparing and their cooking times.

It was, her husband would likely agree, a very Celeste thing to do. However, she did want to make sure that their dinner party wasn't a disaster. After all, this was the first cozy get-together they'd had in quite some time. And there was no better company than the Portes. A smile formed on the healer's face. It would be so nice to see Alexandra and Kahne again, and there was a pang of nostalgia as she remembered their days with the Silvers. Good times, well -- most of them. What with the ever present darkness in the galaxy and what seemed liked endless war in those days.

But tonight wasn't about reminiscing about those sort of things... or was it?

"Coren," she called, unsure of where he'd wandered off to. "Can you check on the roast Nuna?"

The Nuna had already been roasting on a low heat for most of the day. Based on the lovely aroma filling the kitchen, she'd venture a guess that it was going to be good. Celeste consulted her spreadsheet once more. Ah, yes... the bread rolls were just about finished with their second proving and needed to go in the oven. With a protato casserole dish coming out of the oven to 'rest,' there'd be just enough room. With the wine and dessert being brought by the Portes, they'd have a well rounded meal for sure. The tablet had already been set with dishes and decor that fused the classic holiday feel (after all, Life Day was coming up) with tropical Kattadan style.

"How's it looking?" She'd say, casting a glance over her shoulder as Coren came in to help. "They should be here anytime!"

Was there a note of panic in her voice? Slight, but Coren would likely pick up on it.

The Jedi's vessel dropped out of hyperspace, as he hoped they weren't to far behind. Kahne couldn't have been happier to have this day of feast and merriment with the Starchasers. Both families had a strong bond with one another. Kahne held them both in the highest of esteem while he still considered Coren his captain for all intents and purposes. His path had never become swayed, and was one of the most influential Jedi that he had ever met. He would gladly charge into the fight against the darkness anytime he asked. Celeste was indeed the graceful spirit and guiding light, providing a compass for all those that could see into the distance.

It was quite the honor that they invited them for this day. He looked over to Alexandra and he smiled, thankful for her above all else. For the things in his life he couldn't have achieved without her guidance and love. While he did his best to be as good as he could be, he was more than sure she had gotten annoyed with him at several moments in his life.

With that he couldn't help but smile even bigger.

She had taken her venture back home far greater than he could have ever imainged. He was incredibly proud of her. He did his best to help with what he could, that venture for all intents and purposes she was the teacher and he the apprentice in that field.

The vessel touched down on Kattada and the ship powered down.

"Now, I need to find my tie real quick." The Master spoke with a chuckle, as soon as he did that he would help Alexandra with the wine and desserts and such.
