OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
  • Intent: To create a shield distruptor
  • Canon Link: N/A
  • Permissions: N/A
  • Primary Source: None
PRODUCTION INFORMATION
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Can extend an energy field around shuttle/transport size vessels long enough to disrupt and disable virtually any shield configuration that they pass through
STRENGTHS
  • ON/OFF: Easy enough to use
WEAKNESSES
  • LONG RECHARGE: After use, the system will go into full reboot and recharge meaning the disruptor is a "One and Done-for awhile".
DESCRIPTION
The device is simple, it fits on most shuttle and transport style/sized ships. Sacrificing longevity for effectiveness, the disruptor can bypass nearly any shield system in existence to drop its payload. The Disruptor is actually an energy field emitted from the device and if there is a pending issue then feedback from the field will burn a bright yellow and will shut the system off. While this will normally happen in time to alter course, crashing into a shield is a possibility.

You have a little bit to touch up here.

  • Permissions: My Subs
Firstly, the permissions section is a section to link to other people giving you permissions to use their things. If you're not using the technology of others users then you can have this section listed as N/A.

GIVES WARNING: Feedback from the field extended around the ship will shut the system off indicating any pending failure (I.E. crashing into a shield)
I have no idea what you're trying to say here. it shuts down shields unless it crashes into a shield? How is this a strength?

I'm going to need more information on how this works, you say it projects a field which can surround something to disrupt its shields. Is it a projectile? Does it simply create a field that the object has to move through? Does it need to be smuggled onto a ship like a bomb? This submission is going to need some considerable work to help explain that.

I fixed the "Subs" issue (never really understood that, thanks for the heads up)
I went ahead and took out the "strength" (you were right, the more I tried to explain it, I myself thought "How the (censored) is this a 'strength'?" lol)
I moved it into the description and hopefully gave you a better one. Felix Aquila Felix Aquila
