Cut to a scene on the ground.
Laser blasts going off. A Sith Officer and GNN reporter are hiding behind a wall. "They came out of nowhere. We were just on our way in…." The reporter speaks as a well-timed explosion goes off in the background. Another officer is closing the eyes of a few sith dead on the ground, he puts on a rehearsed performance. "Its unbelievable, the Alliance invite us here to discuss terms and…." another explosion goes off right on cue, the camera going to static.
Cut back to the studio.
"Danzel Danzel?" It seems we've lost Danzel, "just what is going on Marci?" The female news host exhales looking agitated, "It's chaos Melsk, early reports are the Sith delegation were attacked almost on landing."
The two male anchors shake their heads, "I can't believe it, the Jedi really would do this?"
"Many times have I warned, the Jedi are stuck with their traditions and a danger to galactic peace." Melsk Thraus III looked concerned. "Hold on…. yes… yes…. I think we have communications back. Danzel are you there?"
A camera shot of the battle appears next to them.
"You're right Marci its chaos. Jedi swarming surrounded us, there is talk of a bioweapon but…." Another well-timed explosion went off. "They are asking us to get back for our own safety." Ducking low the reporter looked panicked, running for his life. The GNN only ever picked the best actors.
"Stay safe Danzel," the female anchor said as the camera went off.
"Well there you have it, we'll leave you the informed viewers to make up your own mind about the Alliance's guilt." Melsk shuffled his datasheets, stone-faced he looked into the camera. "In the meantime. Remember, trust no one and do your own research. Then tune back into the GNN tomorrow to be updated with the facts!"
