The empty black sands of the beach must have stretched for a kilometer on both sides of the nestled cove. The sound of the ocean waves made a person think cooling thoughts in the tropical heat. With verdant jungle to his back and brandishing a stuffed tote in one arm and hauling an oversized primitive ice chest Elgyn made his way to a chosen spot just six meters from the waters edge. There he had staked his claim with blanket and a large parasol that had been jammed into the ground. It was time for simple relaxation. Bare chested and his nose white with some type of sunblock El dug into the tote bag pulling out a retractable fishing pole.
With a pop the pole extended and it only took a moment to adjust the line and hook in a glop of stinking bait. Casting the line with a little nudge from the Force he flopped down on the blanket he and rested the pole on a propped up piece of driftwood. Retrieving a boxed drink from the cooler he spoke to the air: “Let’s catch some lunch” he said with a melody and a smile.
He took in the quiet of the beach and the salt of the air.
