After getting exiled by the Wukong of his troublemaker personality, he traveled to many worlds in the Alliance space and the Wild Space. One time, he went to planet Hurikane (which is located in the Wild Space) to collect thirteen purple-hued kyber crystals to replace the green kyber crystal ones due to his alignment in the Force. Take note that the steel handheld fan and its hilt are already sculpted in Gong's homeworld, Atrisia. After that, he was able to replace the green ones to purple ones.
