Hello there. You may call me Maris. A friend of mine, who used to RP here, told me about this site so I have been perusing a bit and decided that I would create a character. I will likely be joining either the Galactic Republic, or the Galactic Alliance. My mind is not made up yet.
A couple of things to know about me: I have been writing for many years, and roleplaying nearly as long as writing. My experience in RP extends to video game RP in which I previously participated on The Red Zone, a DayZ RP server run by TehJamJar that is no longer in service. That experience is part of the inspiration behind this character.
About my character (more will be viewable in my biographical information once I post it): I am a non-force user. I do not have latent force abilities and will never strive to obtain them. I view the Force as an abomination of natural science. While it may be true we are created of it, the ability that it has granted to some individuals inevitable turns them into power hungry egomaniacs. The Jedi are just as guilty of this as the Sith. In some respects, the Jedi are worse than Sith, but that's another matter altogether. Despite my distaste for Force Users, I do not seek wanton bloodshed. Can I kill them? Yes. However, simply because I can and because I detest them is not sufficient reason for their destruction. I am not here to be the Force Slayer, I'm here to assist in the restoration of galactic peace through the use of arms in subjugation of the enemies of freedom and prosperity. That means you, Imperials and Sith.
