PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

A rotund Khormai, he has thick, wrinkled, and dull rusty-brown skin. His beady blue-grey eyes are crowned with wispy white eyebrows that match his long white mustache. He is short (for a Khormai) and stocky with rolling folds of fat blubber. He is almost always seen wearing a reddish-brown metallic Khormai environmental suit.

PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS

A former client once described Gorba as, “the most despicable tub of lard I have ever met.” Gorba is amoral in every sense of the word. He is greedy, duplicitous, gluttonous, lustful, and proud of it all. Despite his many character flaws, Gorba is a successful businessman and engineer. His competitive nature drives him to produce cutting-edge products and consistently find new ways to get these products to his customers. Blockades be damned.

Attempts by legal forces to shut down Gorba’s operations have consistently failed due to interference from outside parties. A lot of influential people were making money investing in S&C and Gorba couldn’t have been more enthusiastic about being a cog in the military-industrial complex.

A frustrated financial corruption investigator once said, “I pity anyone attempting to unravel any enterprise set up by Gorba. The layers of deceit and imagination that this unlikely Khormai is capable of are unreal.”

STRENGTHS

Business Savvy
Gorba is a shark (or more appropriately, a whale) when it comes to business and commerce. A combination of luck, skills, experience and a total disregard for decency make him incredibly adept at leveraging opportunities and mitigating risks.

Wealthy
His considerable net worth provides Gorba with the ability to bribe and buy his way out of many problems. He can afford to hold numerous bodyguards, mercenaries and assassins on retainer.

WEAKNESSES

Degenerate
As a known unscrupulous individual, many people do not trust Gorba. In addition, they find it easy to get into his good graces simply by catering to his many appetites.

Not A Fighter
While his large size makes him difficult to take down, Gorba is not a trained soldier or fighter. If anything he could be considered a brawler (on a good day) and if armed with a blaster he relies more on spraying-and-praying than accurately hitting targets.

HISTORY

Prior to the fall of the New Imperial Order, Gorba was a junior partner in an Imperial-Corporate shipping company. He knew a member of the Imperial military and helped build the logistics for an undercover arms shipping operation.

After the NIO’s collapse, Gorba started his own shipping company as a front to continue his activities in the arms trade and became a liaison between Imperial remnant forces and a Mandalorian sect planning a planetary coup in Hutt space. The plot was exposed leading to the capture of former-Imperial officers and the Mandalorians being absorbed into the Enclave. Some sources suspected that Gorba may have leaked the information to the Hutt cartel.

Whether or not the rumor was true, Gorba conveniently established new arms contracts shipping weapons from Hutt space vendors to various organizations across the galaxy. During one such transaction, a terrorist group traded a captured Eternal Empire weapons scientist for a load of missiles. Smelling an opportunity, Gorba traded the scientist his freedom in exchange for partnership. He told his client that no scientists had been handed off to him and leaked the whereabouts of the terrorists to the Empire. They were quickly eliminated which in turn covered Gorba’s tracks.

Shortly after, Gorba secured a manufacturing warehouse and shipping spaceport from some eager investors on Nar Shadda. Together with his new business partner, he founded Savak & Corwin Securities Incorporated. They would go on to produce over-the-counter and black market weapons, technologies, and vehicles.
