APPEARANCE:
Like most adult Hutts, Gortta is pretty large and by most species standards, is considered to be obese. By Hutt standards, Gortta is average in size and weight as well as appearance. To many unfamiliar with the Hutt species, he would be nearly indistinguishable from any other Hutt that had relatively similar coloring to his own.
BIOGRAPHY:
Gortta is the child of Rotta the Hutt and Cordalla the H’uun. He was born on Nar Shaddaa several hundred years after the fall of the original incarnation of the First Order under Leader Snoke. Little is known about his early life on account of the fact that Gortta was born and grew up during a period of a galactic dark era. Being the sole surviving member of the Desilijic clan and member of the Tiure bloodline, Gortta inherited all that remained of the once immense criminal empire that had been previously owned by his grandfather, Jabba the Hutt. By this time, the family holdings were significantly smaller than they had been centuries prior due to family infighting.
The death of Jabba caused a power vacuum in the clan since Jabba’s only son was at least 200 years too young to be able to inherit anything. When Rotta was old enough to finally claim what was rightfully his, a civil war broke out between those loyal to Rotta and those loyal to Gorga, Jabba’s nephew. The war ended with a virtual stalemate as the two sides went their separate ways. To this day, it is still common for the two groups to have skirmishes but for the most part, they operate in separate areas of the Galaxy.
By the time of his father’s death, Gortta was old enough to lay claim to the Desilijic clan that had remained loyal to his father, and with it came considerable riches. Overtime, as the clan began to suffer on its own, Gortta made the decision to ally the clan with the Black Sun Syndicate and the Eternal Empire.
