APPEARANCE:
Gotto is a male Ryn of 25 with alabaster-grey skin and yellow eyes. He has a prehensile tauk and a tattoo on his arm resembling a circlet of feathers, a symbol of respect for his Rishi Master. Gotto generally carries a stick for combat, doesn't wear a shirt or shoes, and is generally inept when it comes to technology of any kind.
BIOGRAPHY:
Gotto was born on the planet Corellia to a migrant Ryn family. In this time, Gotto was found to be force sensitive by the new Jedi Order, and his parents were happy to allow him to be brought up in their traditions. Gotto was a fairly average student, though he did display a level of force sensitivity higher than his peers. He would gradually progress through his trials and ascend to the rank of Jedi Knight. After gaining the rank of Knight, Gotto was tasked with investigating reports of dark side activity on the planet Devaron. There, the Ryn would encounter a dark Jedi hiding away in a system of tunnels, who was planning an attack on the planet's Jedi Temple. The two would battle, with Gotto quickly proving to be the victor, but in a final act of desperation the dark Jedi brought down the tunnel above them. Gotto would survive, becoming trapped in the tunnels with no exit. His lightsaber was lost when the collapse occurred, giving him no means of escape. When no other opening presented itself, Gotto let himself slip into a meditative state, where he reflected upon the Force and the nature of the universe. For five years he would dwell underground, meditating and living off of cave fauna. Eventually, an earthquake would bring down a large section of the tunnel, creating a means of exiting the dark and returning to the surface of the planet. The Jedi Knight was changed by this event greatly, gaining a new outlook on the galaxy. Still, he recognized that the suffering had not yet ended. Gotto would take up a simple wooden staff in place of his lightsaber, setting off with nothing on his back to rejoin the New Jedi Order.
