FORMAT INFORMATION
The Format of the mantra on any scroll or holocron containing it is always the same or very similar. It is written as a five line oath in centered positioning. In some circumstances there may be additional pages that give varying meaning and explanation for each line. The length of the philosophical explanations behind the lines can vary depending on the source - but most written accounts of the philosophy behind the mantra tend to be false as The Guardians rarely explain said philosophy in writing and prefer to keep it solely a verbal teaching.
CONTENT INFORMATION
The sole contents of most Guardian written copies of the Mantra are found in the lines at the beginning of this submission. In rare instances a Guardian written copy of the mantra may include upwards of one-hundred additional pages that explain the philosophy of the lines in great detail - but such copies are nearly impossible to find. For those who can find a teacher to pass on the knowledge, or happen upon a text with the philosophy printed within, the philosophy for each line can be summarized as such;
There is no Destiny, There is The Will of The Force
The Guardians don't believe that there is a preconceived beginning and end to all things in the universe. They believe in the notion of free will and accept that people and creatures can act outside the paths lain out by The Force. However, they do believe in The Will of The Force and that those who open themselves up to it are gifted with a sort of divine protection and agency.
Through the Will of the Force, a mortal can play into the a grand plan lain out by The Force itself. This "Grand Design" isn't destiny as it would be understood in some religions, rather it is a plan lain out by The Force to return balance despite the attempts of sapiens to tip the scales one way or the other.
This plan can be disrupted and prolonged by the actions of those acting against The Will of The Force - but The Guardians believe that The Force's Will is not bound by time, space or the attempts of evil to subvert it. Rather, The Force's plans will always come to fruition one way or another.
Thus, Guardians take solace not in the fact that they are destined for something greater - but rather that whatever part they play lends itself to the ultimate Will of The Force. Fight or study. Win or lose. Live or die. They live their daily lives based on what they believe The Force is guiding them to do. True believers do not doubt The Force when they believe its will is known, because they know that acting against The Will could lead to a catastrophic butterfly effect that subverts the grand plan.
Every action is a piece to a puzzle.
So they fear nothing, for all is as The Force wills it.

There is no Flesh, There is The Servant of The Force
The flesh in this line is in reference to the Guardian's physical form and how they do not see it as their own any longer. Guardians, unlike other beings in the galaxy, have given themselves up completely to the Will of The Force and no longer see their bodies as their own to command. They have given over most, if not all, of their free will in order to serve what they see as the Greater Good of the universe.
Thus their "flesh" isn't their own, rather it is an instrument that serves the Will of The Force. This line serves to remind The Guardians not to value things as vain as appearance or even to fear wounds or death - because their body is The Force's to command and their inner being is already one with it.
-
There is no Fear, There is Faith in The Force
A line to further cement the idea that there is nothing to fear if you have faith in The Force. This line serves to remind the Guardians that no matter how insurmountable the odds or how dark the days might seem, that faith in the Will of The Force will see them through. No amount of fear can ever shake The Force's Will and thus no amount of fear should ever shake the will of a Guardian - for The Force's Will and the Guardian's will are one in the same.
-
There is no Solitude, There is The Embrace of The Force
There is no Solitude, There is The Embrace of The Force
A Guardian is never truly alone because they have given themselves wholly and truly to The Force and so it will always be there for them. Even in times when they cannot feel its guiding hand or when they are all alone, it is always living inside them and all living things around them. It is believed that there is no place in the galaxy where The Force will not be with you and that even beings with severed or no force connection at all (I.E Force Dead) will always find the embrace of The Force in all living things around them.
It is the one eternal friend, ally and companion.
-
I am One with The Force, The Force is With Me
Guardians have given themselves to The Force and by extension The Force lends its powers, wisdom and guidance to The Guardians. They are inseparable on a metaphysical level that transcends the physical realm.
This line is often recited in times of great stress and is perhaps the most well known line of the entire mantra - as Guardians say it with some regularity.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The original author of the Guardian's Mantra has been lost to history - but the mantra itself has been a key for Guardians since long before the destruction of the Holy City. For a time the Mantra was almost lost as The Empire made it a point to ban and hunt down Guardians after Jedah was destroyed - but following the Galactic Civil War the Church of The Force and the Guardians of the Whills had a slow resurgence. The Code, likewise, came with them and has served as the basis for the order ever since.
