Finally, major progress has been made. The Temple was starting to look like itself again, and Jonyna could take a break.

Or at least, that's what she thought. Then word from Cathar got back to her. The Protectors were prepping to invade the Empire...

What she had thought would be the time for a cat-nap, instead became a quick call to Val. Jonyna couldn't stand by and let the Protectors potentially throw away Cathar lives, but she also knew the agreement she had made to Mia Monroe .

Cathar was under the Protectors, and if they were going to invade, Jonyna wanted to be there to honor that agreement.

But that was made before. Before she had been given a seat on the council.

She needed to take this up with the Grandmaster...

The woman sat in the council meeting room, where she had called Val to meet her. The chair still felt too big, too much like a responsibility. She knew she'd be able to eventually made it fit, but for now, it felt like a shoe two sizes too big for her.

Jonyna just hoped this would've get her in hot water right after the promotion she had spent so long to earn.

"You wanted to speak?"

Valery's voice cut through the silence, as the turbolift reached the Council Chambers. It felt good to be back here, having seen the tower brought down by the Empire. But through immense effort and the work of so many fine Jedi, much of the Temple was already restored again.

Even being used.

Stepping forward, Valery offered Jonyna a smile and briefly looked out through the window. Coruscant itself was still recovering from its wounds, but she could see the Alliance's efforts out there.

"How can I help you?"

"I did." Jonyna said with a curtness unlike her. "...the Mandos are going to be declaring war on the Empire of the Lost." She spoke with a solemn tone. "...I'm thinking about joining in their invasion. I wanted to hear your thoughts on the matter. I know being on the Council means I have to act as an example for everyone else, but...I also made a promise to act as an example for my people. And a promise to stand by the Protectors should they ever be attacked. I...didn't expect them to be the ones who would be attacking..."
