If you install it, it works with the site to do real-time corrections of grammar as well as spelling. On top of this, if you enable it, you can double-click any word and it will provide a definition as well as potential synonyms (in case you hate being redundant). I tried it out, it works pretty well and is free.

Yes, but for the ambitious (or maybe OCD), You can create a profile and add words and proper spellings.

I've had this add on for little over a year. It drives me crazy sometimes, but it did make improvements.
