Float suspended in perfect comfort, no twisted limbs or joint pressure and at the perfect temperature. Tensor fields negate the effects of gravity on the body, holding the sleeper mid-air to allow for any position while gentle waves of warmth flow from a miniature thermal generator to keep the user at the perfect preferred temperature; similar to a regulator found on medical cocoons.
The bed itself is simply a pair of ‘paddles’ forming a basic frame that extends from any wall at the desired height and can fold away when not in use. Each holds a miniature array of tensor generators and a control panel so you’re never stuck out of arm’s reach. Any user can ‘fall’ into the field to be maneuvered into the perfect position for them or activate the bed to be gently lifted into the field. The Gravity Bed likewise gently sets its users down at their request or on deactivation which can be triggered from a keypad or verbally.
If more than one being will be using the Gravity Bed, the fields can easily adjust the resting position of each occupant to keep them from bumping into one another throughout the night or, hold them together in companionable closeness.
