Great Galactic War Documentary

Hello All. Ah such a good time is it, everyone coming together during Wartime to have fun and have a massive galaxy-wide Royal Rumble. Why am I here. Well as a History Buff I feel that this great conflict should be documented. I would like this project to be a type of educational documentary. With finding the causes leading up to the conflict ICly of course, as well as the Battles, some of the major players such as the Heroes and Generals, and the Aftermath after the War, this is a long project of course, and well I was wondering if anyone would be interested in helping to bring this educational Documentary come to life for future Chaos members to learn of the past. As in a way, this will be very similar to the Timeline Records seen in the Old Republic.

So won't you please join me in recording this historic event and please feel free to come up with ideas or suggestions?

I plan to do a Ken Burns style documentary type thing once it’s all done. I’ve been toying with the idea of turning Eralam into a historian for a while now, just haven’t had the time or motivation. This seems like a good place to start though.

It will be difficult - with PVP there's always going to be disagreement as to what happened, and the judgments only declare a victor, they don't validate a historical record.

The first stage will have to involve collecting an oral history of sorts, from both sides, to get as broad a perspective as possible. Nailing down a definitive timeline for sequences of events can be difficult, to be sure, but it's doable. The real trick is to weave those narratives together into a cohesive whole that not only paints an accurate picture of the overall sequence of events, but also tells the human story behind the events.

I was going to make a news reel about this as I am returning to Chaos after a long time being gone. I would be willing to help with Editing and gathering Information. Honest Input you might want to make a Discord or area where Interviews and Info Gatherers can exchange info to keep confusion to a minimum. It helped me when I made my first news reel.
