STRENGTHS

• Cortosis - The use of redundant non-dimetris circuitry in the activation loops makes the lightsaber highly resistant to the deleterious effects of cortosis.
• Powerful Blade - The claymore lightsaber is a big, powerful weapon for a big, powerful warrior. Classed as a great lightsaber, it projects a strong blade that maintains stupendous cutting power, due to the inclusion of a varpeline crystal and a fusion shunt, burning hot enough to potentially cut through aged wintrium and even beskar with practical ease.
• Patience, Young One - The kasha crystal has a strong calming effect on the lightsaber’s wielder. It serves to temper her reckless nature, with the added capability of clearing her mind during a fight and dampening her often-strong emotions.

WEAKNESSES

• Mechanical Mutation - Unfortunately, the lightsaber is vulnerable to malicious influence from a skilled practitioner of Mechu-deru or similar technology-corrupting powers, provided that they have a clear line of sight to the weapon.
• Sound Signature - A big, powerful lightsaber such as this also produces far more sound than normal, producing a deep, resonating timbre that can clue an enemy in to the location of the wielder and their blade.

DESCRIPTION
The great blade of the Caimbeulaich Clan, the lightsaber of Greer Caimbeulaich is a thorough testament to its wielder’s Highland Galidraani heritage, the hilt closely resembling that of a Highland claymore. Like the claymore, Greer’s lightsaber is a powerful, two-handed weapon, demanding both strength and finesse to wield. Thoroughly muscled from a hard life of a warrior and a farmer, Greer is perfectly suited to wield it, especially since the kyber crystals are attuned to her specifically.

Capable of challenging many lightsaber-resistant materials, the weapon projects a hot, powerful blade. And yet, a kasha crystal integrated into the hilt ensures that the wielder’s temper does not run as hot as the blade, keeping her head clear even in the heat of battle. A plethora of utility features were added as well, ensuring that the blade is easy to maintain and reliable, even in the most unconventional environments.

Ultimately, this weapon is not only a nod to Greer’s heritage, but also a practical blade to carry her through the demanding trials of a Jedi.
